Situated on winding and undulating crescents and cul-de-sacs, you will find the lovely homes of the Henry Farm.  Lot sizes are generous in this mature, suburban community, with many of the properties on George Henry, Manorpark, and Denver Crescent also backing onto the Don Valley Ravine.  Homes in the Henry Farm date from the 1960s, with some having undergone extensive updates to their exteriors.

• The expansive Havenbrook Park.  Sure, the baseball diamond, playground, and tennis courts are all very nice.  However, much more enticing is that because of the bowl shape of the park, in winter there are nearly 360 degrees of terrifying tobogganing hills that your kids are sure to adore.
• The paved Betty Sutherland Trail meanders alongside the Don River, and provides access to a few kilometres of dirt trails that are quite good for hiking and mountain biking.
• Excellent proximity to the 401, DVP, and the Sheppard subway line at both Don Mills Station (Fairview Mall) and Leslie Station (reached by walking along the Betty Sutherland Trail). 
• Shopping at Fairview Mall, the nearby Bayview Village, the gigantic new Canadian Tire at Leslie, Ikea, and more.

A bit of Henry Farm history...

The Henry Farm takes its name from the former Premier of Ontario, George Henry, who operated a farm on this land until it was developed into a residential subdivision in the 1960s.  My husband, who grew up in the neighbourhood, can attest that it was certainly a farming community, for he still remembers uncovering old horseshoes and farming utensils while digging in his parents' backyard.

At the bottom of Havenbrook and George Henry Boulevards you will find a cul-de-sac called Manorpark Court, which features two sites of historical note.  At the apex of Manorpark is a stately century farmhouse, residence of former Premier George Henry.  Further down Manorpark is a monument to Henry Mulholland, who was an ancestor to George Henry.  Mulholland pioneered the area in the early 1800s, and later served in the War of 1812.  Sadly, he perished in 1833 on a return voyage from his Irish motherland, to where he had visited in effort to encourage more emigration to Canada.
